Are you a wine lover or simply someone who likes to enjoy a drink or two from time to time? Ever wondered what to do with that free time of yours during these cold and gloomy days in Berlin? Well, we have just the answer for you. Sipsteria is organizing wine gatherings to introduce you to the finest wines from Romania and Moldova. 

The Experience

A casual set-up sommelier-like experience, where you will get to taste and explore some of the wines from the Eastern European countries, Romania and Moldova. We’ve planned these gatherings so we don’t bore you out with loads of facts about the wine, but rather focus on the most prominent details.

A selection of various appetizers is included so that you can, yes, drink even more wine!

Post Wine-Tasting: who says we have to be done once we’ve tried out all the wines? We have a very relaxed setting, and in all the wine gatherings we’ve done, we like to kick-back and continue hanging out afterwards. Whether we play some board games, or go social and get to know one another, it’s all up to us and the mood we’re in. Oh and of course, we keep on drinking wine!

Pricing

We’re not doing this for profit at the time being. Our goal is to grow our idea and also introduce people in Berlin to wines from our countries.

• 6 people gathering - 39 EUR/person

But wait, there’s more! We also give you a complimentary wine bottle to take and sip alone or with your friends. (You can choose the wine depending on the availability on that day).

The Menu

Wine Selection - from the hills of Dragasani in Romania, to the Tiganca plains in Moldova, we’ve curated and selected the most iconic wines from the region, to introduce you to a new palette of great tastes. 

Appetizers - Get ready to taste some of the most delicious and authentic cold cuts (different types of cheese and meat from Romania). We’ve also included a selection of fruits and veggies if you’re looking for a dairy-free/vegan option.

Beverages - we also serve the classics, still and sparkling water. 

Location

All gatherings are private and we host groups of 4/6 people. The location is in one of our flats right next to the U-bahn Eberswalder str. In Prenzlauer Berg. Not only you’ll get to enjoy a unique wine tasting experience, you’ll be doing so in style and with a cool view. We also have a balcony in case you want to have a smoke in between.
